The Coalition of Registered Political Parties (CRPP), Enugu State chapter, has commended the Enugu State Independent Electoral Commission (ENSIEC) over the conduct of the September 26, 2026, Local Government elections.
The coalition described the election as peaceful and successful. It said the process allowed voters to exercise their civic responsibilities without fear, intimidation or unnecessary hindrance.

In a statement issued on Monday, CRPP Chairman, Chief Dr Afam Ani, expressed appreciation to ENSIEC for its role in the electoral process.
Ani said the commission created an atmosphere that enabled eligible voters to participate without fear or intimidation. He also praised the conduct of the election across the different local government areas and wards.
The coalition said the exercise was generally calm and orderly. It added that ENSIEC’s efforts helped reduce disruptions during the voting process.
