Mbah Seeks Another Term
Mbah is seeking re-election after serving as governor since 2023. His campaign is expected to focus on his administration’s projects, policies and social interventions.
The governor’s performance in office and his plans for another term are likely to feature in the campaign debate as political parties engage voters across Enugu State.
His challengers will also have opportunities to present their policy priorities, development plans and reasons for seeking the mandate of the electorate.
Parties Prepare for 2027 Election
With 16 candidates on the official list, the Enugu governorship contest will involve established parties and smaller political platforms.
Campaign activities are expected to include engagements with community leaders, stakeholders and residents across the state’s 17 local government areas.
The candidates will seek to communicate their programmes and attract voter support ahead of election day.
However, the final list only establishes who is listed to contest the election. It does not determine the eventual winner, which will depend on the votes cast and the official electoral process.
As preparations continue, attention will turn to the candidates’ campaign messages, policy proposals and efforts to mobilise voters across Enugu State.
